FAQs

How would you describe your style?

Makeup is meant to enhance and refine; paying tribute to all the beautiful things that make you YOU while concealing any flaws or imperfections. Our approach at Indulgent Beaute is to make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself.

Do you do hair as well?

Indulgent Beaute does not offer hair services.

What’s the difference between airbrush makeup? Do you offer it?

Airbrush makeup uses the power of compressed air to apply a fine must of makeup whereas traditional makeup is applied with brushes and sponges. At this time we only apply traditional makeup.

What products do you use?

Here at Indulgent Beaute we use a variety of products from drug store, to prestige luxury to industry professional brands such as NARS, MAC Cosmetics, Fenty, MakeUp Forever, Tarte, YSL, Ben Nye, Inglot, RCMA, Cinema Secrets, Natasha Denona, Pat McGrath, Iman, and Black Opal. Products are chosen for their longevity, and ability to achieve the final results.

I’ve never worn much makeup. Do you offer just eyes?

Unfortunately this is not a request we can accommodate. Every service includes full makeup.

Can I schedule a trial or meeting with you at your studio before committing?

Trials are not only recommend, they are required for all bridal services and will be scheduled at the time of your introductory phone consultation.

How much time will you need to complete my wedding day services?

The time needed for your wedding will vary depending on the size of your bridal party and the complexity of your desired look. Each makeup services is scheduled for 45 minutes to an hour with 90 minutes for the bride and an additional 30 minutes for set up/break down and touch ups.

My wedding will be in an exotic destination. I’d like to still use your services. What should I expect?

Indulgent Beaute has experience traveling and providing makeup service for the bride only or the bride and the bridal party. Destination Wedding packages are available on request.

Do you have a second artist fee?

A second artist is recommended for all parties receiving more than 6 services. This will allow everyone to be accommodated in a short window. You are welcome to book me at my minimum (3 services for on location weddings) and select your own second artist, or allow me to handle all of the logistics with bringing a second artist.

What if we need to change locations while you’re doing makeup? Is there an additional fee for this?

If you are requesting that my team and I begin services in one location, stop and pack up, then travel to another location to set up there will be a $150 transfer fee plus any additional mileage or parking fees for each booked artist.

I would prefer an earlier start time. Will there be an extra fee for this?

For services that need begin before 8am there will be a $125 hourly fee added to your package balance for each booked artist.

Do you require a contract?

Absolutely! The integrity of my business is very important and a contract serves to outline the details and expectations for each party. No wedding date can be held without a retainer in place and a signed contact.

Is there anything I’ll need to do to prepare the space for you?

All artist travel with a light, a chair and their equipment. We ask for a clean, smoke free environment with an electricity outlet nearby and a table.

What if someone drops out of my bridal party before the wedding?

Once the contract is signed services can be added, but not subtracted. If you need to drop a service you are welcome to substitute another guest in that slot or come in prior to your wedding for a makeup appointment.

What if someone is running late?

You will be supplemented with a day of schedule at least 1 week before your wedding date to help the day run optimally. If someone is late, they can be replaced by a bridesmaid scheduled later in the day if time permits and if the artist is able to provide services to another bridesmaid in their original slot. In the event that your services start later than our contracted arrival and start time, there will be a fee of $125 per hour that is due before services can begin. In the event of a late or no show, the full contracted amount for their service will be due.
